LostFrame — lostframe.app · Last updated: June 2026
LostFrame respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, what we don't, and how we handle your data.
Your photos never leave your device. All image processing happens locally in your browser using client-side technology. We never upload, transmit, store, view, or access your images. We physically cannot see your photos — they don't touch our servers.
Account information: When you create an account, we store your email address, display name, and profile photo (provided by Google if you use Google sign-in). This is necessary to manage your account and subscription.
Usage data: We track which aesthetics you use, how many exports you make, and general interaction patterns. This helps us understand which features are popular and improve the product. We use PostHog for analytics.
Payment information: Payment processing is handled entirely by Lemon Squeezy (our merchant of record). We do not collect, store, or have access to your credit card number, bank details, or full payment information. Lemon Squeezy processes your payment and shares only your subscription status with us.
Creator referral codes: If you use a creator code when subscribing, we record which code was used for internal reporting.
Your photos or images (processed locally, never transmitted). Your precise location. Your contacts or address book. Your browsing history outside of LostFrame. Biometric data. Data from other apps on your device.
Email: to manage your account and send important service updates (not marketing unless you opt in). Usage analytics: to understand which aesthetics are popular, identify bugs, and improve the product. Subscription status: to determine which features you can access.
We do not sell your data. We do not share your personal information with advertisers.
LostFrame uses the following third-party services: Supabase (authentication and database), Lemon Squeezy (payments, as merchant of record), PostHog (analytics), and Google (authentication if you use Google sign-in).
LostFrame uses only what's essential for authentication and session management — a small amount of browser local storage to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking cookies, or third-party marketing cookies.
Your account data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your profile data, export history, and associated records within 30 days.
You have the right to: access your personal data, correct inaccurate data, delete your account and associated data, export your data, and withdraw consent at any time. Contact studio@lostframe.app for any of these requests. If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have additional rights under GDPR.
LostFrame is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication, and access controls. Since your images are processed locally and never leave your browser, there is no risk of your photos being exposed through a server breach.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email.
